Appalachian Mountain Feist
Born 11/1/05
Our farm dog protects us and our home from other animals. She has scared off bear, bobcat, and a plethora of ravaging deer. She is an indispensible part of life on our farm.
Black Snake Ridge Bela Kun
AKC Registered Komondor
01/01/14 - 8/28/16 (murdered with poison)
Bela was our first Komondor, and we loved him very, very much. He was an incredible dog, and he will be missed more than I could ever explain on this page.
Somogyi Betyar Pityke
AKA ZsaZsa
AKC registered Komondor
Born 12/15/14 - 9/18/16 (murdered with poison)
ZsaZsa was imported from Hungary when we were looking for a mate for Bela. Her sire is International Champion Canicum Pastor Duhaj, and her dam is Junior Champion Beremendi Bundas Nelly. She will be very missed.
Bear
Registered English Shepherd
Born June 2015
When our beloved Komondorok were killed, our good friends, Ed and Joanie Kinser worked to find us a new farm dog. He is officially Ruthie's dog, but we all love him very much.
Skye
Registered Mountain Feist
Born May 30, 2020
Skye is our young feist, and she is Chris's dog.
Charlie
Registered American Bulldog
Born July 15, 2020
Charlie is Tina's dog and beloved companion. She is a fantastic farm dog and wonderful protection for us all.
Cats:
What would a farm be without barn cats? Our cats make sure that the grain is rodent-free and the garden is safe from moles and voles.
Outside cats, Zigby (age 16) in the left photo and Zoraster (age 8) in the right photo, help to make sure the hay, grain, and barn areas are all rodent-free.
