Life on our farm:
We are extremely fortunate to have our little homestead, and we enjoy ourselves immensely. Here we provide a glimpse into life on our farm.
Autumn chores include gathering and composting leaves and gathering and cutting wood. The kids enjoy helping with these tasks.

Another favorite pastime is playing in the goat yard. Our goats are well-socialized and human-friendly because all seven of us spend time with each goat, each day.
Traditional Archery:
Our children have all been taught traditional archery. It's something we strongly endorse - both for its connection with the natural world and the physical and mental strength it requires.
Goat shows:
Showing has always made us slightly nervous. Taking our beautiful goats out in the community requires careful preparation, caution, and forethought. We rarely show, but we think it is occasionally necessary as confirmation of what we are trying to achieve with our animals, as well as the next step in allowing the children to reap the benefits of their hard work in the barn...
